Albania

Albania is establishing the AL Missions HUB as a national platform to coordinate climate and sustainability transitions across governance levels and sectors. Moving from structuring to pilot implementation in 2026 and full operation by May 2027, it brings together cities, academia, industry and civil society in Territorial Transitions Clusters to enable place-based collaboration.

KEY PRIORITIES

• Multi-level governance: Build strong governance and collaboration structures through clusters and transition arenas enabling joint decision-making and long-term partnerships.
• Investable project pipelines: Translate Mission approaches into concrete territorial pathways and improve access to public, private and blended finance.
• Capacity, learning and replication: Ensure knowledge feeds into policy and can be scaled across regions.
