Slovakia currently lacks a formalised national platform for the Cities Mission. Its plan concentrates on establishing and formalising one by creating a Slovak Cities Mission Coordination Group bringing together Mission Cities, mission-minded cities, academia and EU project focal points under clearly defined roles and coordination mechanisms.

KEY PRIORITIES

• National platform: Create a functional Slovak Cities Mission Coordination Group with defined roles and formalisation.
• Community of practice: Build structured peer learning and gradually expand participation.
• City capacity: Strengthen capacity to implement Climate City Contracts, MRV and funding mobilisation.
