Opportunities of the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission for Turkish Local Authorities

TÜBİTAK, as the responsible institute of coordination of the Horizon Europe Program in Türkiye and partner of the CAPACITIES project, organised the event “Opportunities of the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission for Turkish Local Authorities” that will take place on October 5, 2023 at the Istanbul Congress Center, inside the Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF).

The event’s objective is to inform on the available funding opportunities and to facilitate the exchange of experience among the cities towards their climate neutral goals.

In the different sessions there will be various presentations and speeches of leading representatives from Turkish and European Cities working towards climate neutrality, the EU Delegation to Turkey, the Republic of Turkey. Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for European Union Affairs, European Investment Bank (EIB), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Bank of Provinces (ILBANK), Marmara Union of Municipalities, experts from CAPACITIES and DUT Projects.
