Join the PED Community in Defining the Path to Climate-Neutral Cities: Participate in the PED AGORA and Survey
Positive Energy Districts play a crucial role in the transformation of cities towards a carbon-neutral future and the urban energy transition. However, the role of PEDs in the climate-neutral city has not been clearly defined yet and there is still ambiguity and regarding the precise framework of the PED concept.
The Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership has initiated a broad stakeholder consultation process on updating the PED Framework Definition as a key building block towards climate-neutral cities that included an AGORA event in October 2023. Since then, we have worked on defining the central elements for this update.
In this PED AGORA, we are inviting the PED community to reflect on the core statements of an updated PED Framework and define our journey towards climate-neutral cities.
Your input matters
The PED AGORA invites a diverse range of stakeholders active in the energy transition and urban transformation issues to join the discussion and workshop on 14 May. We believe that gathering insights and perspectives from various stakeholders will help in refining and enriching the definition of PEDs to better align with the needs and realities of climate-neutral neighborhoods.
Please note that there is limited space for participation in this event and your participation will be confirmed shortly after the registration deadline on 26 April 2024.
Preparation
As preparation for the event, we kindly invite you to participate in a short survey to share your thoughts, experiences, and suggestions regarding the PED concept.
Your contribution is important to support us in creating a more comprehensive and inclusive framework. Your responses will be treated with utmost confidentiality and will solely be used for the purpose of this initiative.
The survey is open until 31 April

We look forward to taking it further together with you!
