Coordinating structure: The Greek Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Central Union of Greek Municipalities (KEDE) are collaborating to implement the Cities Mission in Greece and have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) between the Ministry and 80 municipalities with focus on climate neutrality for cities. The municipalities participating in this Memorandum are committed to implement environmental and sustainable policies within the framework of the European Green Deal, to integrate local policies of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with the aim of making cities more humane, inclusive, safe, resilient and viable.
